Booking Conditions

The Booking process entails acceptance of these General Conditions of Sale and full and unreserved acceptance of their provisions. Staying at the Residence U Frusteru means accepting the current rules and regulations and undertaking to comply with them, for the wellbeing and tranquillity of all. Your reservation is only effective when we receive a deposit of 50 % of the rental amount for a flexible rate, and the full payment for a non-cancellable and non-refundable rate. On receipt of our acknowledgement of payment, the reservation is confirmed, in accordance with the general conditions of the sale of the holiday.

1 – Booking Conditions Non-Cancellable & Non-refundable rate and Cancellation policy :

For non-cancellable and non-refundable reservations, full payment by credit card is required at the time of booking. The Booking done, there is no possibility to modificate or to cancel the reservation. A refund is impossible, even in case of no-show.

Covid-19 :

Conditions of cancellation, in case of lock down or closed borders. For non-flexible rates: guests can request a credit voucher for the full amount of the original booking value for use at a future date within 18 months of the original arrival date.

2 – Booking Conditions flexible rate and Cancellation policy :

A deposit of 50 % of the rental amount is required at the time of booking. For reservations made less than 20 days prior to the starting date of the stay, full payment is required at the time of booking. The balance must be paid in full when the keys are handed over on arrival. Cancellations and modifications must be made by mail at info@ufrusteru.com The modification of a reservation is binding and definitive only after our written confirmation. The cancellation of a reservation is only effective after our written confirmation. Requests for amendments may lead to the application of the cancellation conditions.

Here are the details:

- 30 days prior to the arrival date, your deposit will be reimbursed minus the admin. charge of 50€.

- Between 30 days and 21 days before the arrival date, the deposit is retained by us.

- Between 20 days or no-show on arrival, 100% of the total cost of the stay must be made.

Any interrupted or shortened stay for whatever reason (including strikes, medical repatriation and other case of force majeure), will not be refunded. You are advised to take out a cancellation insurance. Contact your insurance company or your credit / bank card contract.

Covid-19 :

Conditions of cancellation, in case of lock down or closed borders. For flexible rates: guests who booked fully refundable rates may cancel their reservation and receive a full refund; or may modify their reservation and request a credit voucher for the full amount of the original booking value for use at a future date.

3 - Payment of the balance / Tariffs:

Our rates are based on a certain number of nights and not days. They include all taxes and charges included (water, electricity, gas, air conditioning, use of the heated swimming pool, WIFI, access to parking). They do not include: the tourist tax, the deposit, payable on site, at the handing over of the keys, as well as any additional services. The methods of payment accepted are: bank card, bank check, bank transfer, holiday vouchers (within the limit of 30% of the price of the stay) or cash.

4 – Arrivals and departures

For a week stay, check-in is from 4:00; check-out is at the latest by 9.30. For a night stay, check-in is from 4:00; check-out is at the latest by 11:00. If, due to unavoidable circumstances, you cannot arrive before 20.00, you must inform the reception in order to collect the keys for your accommodation when you arrive. Failure to arrange a hand over the keys, in the event of arrival after 20.00, is not the responsibility of the Residence and will not give rise to any compensation.

5 - Security deposit :

You will be required to pay a security deposit of 500€ on the day of your arrival by a credit card pre-authorisation. The accommodation is handed over in a perfect state of cleanliness. A check of the rental property is carried out during the cleaning. Please let us know of any problem noted within the 24 hours after your arrival. After this deadline you will be held responsible as the premises are considered to be in perfect condition. No items may be moved from one apartment to another. If furniture, furnishings or other objects are missing, broken or damaged when you leave, other than due to normal wear and tear, you will be invoiced after notification and statements justifying the required amounts. The accommodation must be handed back in a reasonable state of cleanliness. Failure to do this will result in 80€ deducted from the deposit. The security deposit will be cancelled within a week following your departure, after deduction of any replaced items or extra cleaning noted during the cleaning of the apartment as well as anything unpaid (washing machine tokens, laundry, etc.). If your deposit is insufficient to cover the damage caused, you will have to make up the difference.

6 - Responsibility :

In accordance with the current legislation, renting in a French Tourist Residence does not come under the liability of hotels. So, we cannot be held liable in case of loss, theft or damage to personal belongings in our Residence (accommodation, car park, communal areas). May we remind you that we also cannot be held responsible if you leave personal possessions in your accommodation when you leave. Supervision of children is the responsibility of the parents. The Residence declines all responsibility for accidents involving children, especially in the swimming pool. We cannot be held responsible for disruptions in the town (work undertaken by a private individual or by public authorities, water shortages or power cuts, strikes, etc.) which disrupt your stay. In the case of events beyond our control, or for safety or maintenance reasons, we may be forced to shut down a site or facility (communal washing machine, heated swimming pool, television, WIFI, etc.). We cannot be held responsible for these events and no compensation can be claimed. 7–Children : 

The stay is free for children under 3 years old. A cot, a baby bath, a high chair, a potty and a soup mixer are provided, on request and subject to availability.

8 – Visitors :

The Residence is a private property reserved for its own clients. Anyone not listed on the booking contract is considered a visitor. For this reason, visitors must report to the reception to receive permission to enter. Visitors admitted are the responsibility of the clients who have invited them. They do not have access to the facilities of the Residence and in particular the swimming pool. Visitors will only be received occasionally and never for the whole stay. If the number of occupants of the accommodation exceeds the number indicated on the contract, we reserve the right to refuse any additional people. The accommodation of extra guests will be allowed if we have given our agreement.

9 – Swimming Pool : 

The swimming pool is exclusively reserved for the clients of the Residence. Parents are responsible for supervising their children. The Residence declines all responsibility for accidents involving children. Before entering the water, swimmers must have a shower. Wearing a bathing suit is mandatory as well armbands for children and a nappy for the smallest ones. Inflatables and ball games which may disturb other bathers are forbidden.

10 - Pets : 

For reasons of safety and hygiene our pet-friends are not allowed at the Residence. No animal may be brought into the rented accommodation under any circumstances.

11 – Vehicles : 

Inside the Residence complex, vehicles must be driven slowly. Washing vehicles with water spray or vacuum cleaner is forbidden. Charging electric vehicles is forbidden in the guests rooms. Please use the electric charging station. This service is subject to charge.

12 - Reception :

The reception times may vary depending on the season. They are displayed at the reception desk.

13 - Failure to respect the rules and regulations :

We reserve the right to terminate the rental contract immediately and without compensation in the following cases: if the accommodation is occupied by a number of persons greater than that stated in the contract; if the occupants are the subject of complaints from the neighbours for disturbance or non-compliance with the Residence's rules and regulations; and for any damage to the common areas.
